Jedi Training Camp

While wandering through Tomorrowland we ran across a Jedi Training Camp. Our family loves Star Wars. This was a dream come true for both the boys. They anxiously waited in line. And Baby was chosen to be one of the Padowans!

He was so excited. The Jedi Master taught them a special move that could be used against the Dark Side.

And then they all felt a Disturbance in the Force.

Who had come to Jedi Training Camp trying to woo Younglings away from the Good Side?

None other than Darth Vader! He tried to woo them with talk of power and wealth. But none would join him.

So he brought in the big guns. Darth Maul! They chose to duel it out with the younglings. They all had to fight. Good thing they had learned a special move that would protect them from the Dark Side.

Baby was happy to help the Jedi's. When they had all driven the Darth's away, they graduated. They had passed a hard test!

So now it's Official. We have a Jedi in the family.

The Evil Force

A couple years ago Olaf walked out of work. And saw this car in the parking lot. He couldn't resist getting a few pics.

The license plate is pretty awesome. You see, we love Star Wars at this house. Baby has so many Star Wars Legos that it's ridiculous. But Middle Child absolutely LOVES Darth Vader.

So he had to get a pic of the hood of the Star Wars car. Pretty nice paint job! Once we asked Middle Child why he liked Darth Vader so much, hoping it wasn't because he was evil. His reply, you ask?

"Because he can make people do whatever he wants them to do!"

We tried to explain the difference between the the Evil Darth Vader forcing people to do things versus the Good side of the Force, the Jedi's, using the Force for the benefit of others. But being the victim of his older brother, he was much more interested in Making People Do Things.

Baby Owns This

Baby came home from school a couple of weeks ago and PROUDLY announced:
"I am the second-shortest kid in the class!"

Baby got back from Basketball tonight:
"I made two baskets! But I'm still afraid of the ball. I'm afraid of the soccer ball too. But I'm not afraid of the football!"

Randomly:
"I LOVE Froggy!" and he takes him places all the time.

And all the time:
"I Love Star Wars! I wish I could be Commander Cody!"

The child is all about the fun things in life. We should all take a lesson and be proud of all our accomplishments.

The Force

A lot of my blogs tend to be about things Baby has done. We do not favor him over the other two, he is just at that stage. When the other two were that age they were really funny also. I just wasn't blogging yet. Here's a story about Middle Child when he was Baby's age.

Middle Child loves Star Wars. His favorite character is Darth Vader. He wants to be like him. He even has a t-shirt that says 'I Belong to the Dark Side.' He wears it under his unbuttoned Cub Scout shirt. He has a General Grevious Light Saber that he hides under his bed. When asked about his obsession with the Dark Side he explained that they can make people do things they don't want to do. We explained the difference between using The Force for good and evil and he didn't care. I think being in the middle he wanted to make First Born do stuff he didn't want to do.

In Sunday School Middle Child told his classmates that he had The Force and could make them move. They didn't believe him and he decided to prove his power. He licked the palm of his hand, held it in front of one of the girl's faces, and moved it closer and closer to her. As she backed up he exclaimed, "I have The Force!"
