Play the Game!

This is a pretty fun game, participate if you want! Add a comment on my blog. Leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

So many memories I don't even know where to start.

Probably my best memories are when we lived together. One day I came home from work and you and Jeni were way sick. The floor was covered in food and everytime one of you were about to puke Clayton would come over and giggle. So I helped the kids pick up all the toys. Then we swept the kitchen and I don't know what else I did but it looked better - that's all I remember. I remember you and Jeni telling me there was food on the floor so the kids could have a snack if they were hungry - you two were that sick! So then I took all 4 kids to the store so you two could have a little quiet time. Chris came home while I was gone with the kids and was like wow this house is a mess. YOu and Jeni both said you should of seen it before Sally picked up. Looking back I have to idea if I put the kids in car seats or anything - I just took them. Plus I don't remember what Chris and I did to feed the kids that night. It's just a funny and good memory I have.

Cookies! I love coming to friday lunch with the girls especially when you made cookies. It was always hard to keep myself from eating too many. Maybe I could lose some weight now we are not having lunch together anymore. Also, I can't believe I was crazy enough to go shopping with you on black friday at an insane hour. I think we left at 4:15 am. I was surprised when we made it back home before my family even woke up (and they are early risers). I had fun even though I didn't end up buying much.

So many memories - good, bad, scary, and funny ones!

I remember being little and you babysitting. Of course you might remember it differently:) But for some reason that I don't remember - you were mad at me and I decided to yell that I was the ginger bread women and you can't catch me! You were so mad!!!!! I think you locked me out of the house after that:)

And I love all the black Fridays that we have gone shoping together also! And YES it is a VERY crazy time of the morning to get up!

So many memories also. One cool memory: In Cedar Rapids you were the class president of either Beehives or Mia Maids (you couldn't drive). One less active girl lived at the other end of O Ave. Every month we would take her a treat, no matter the weather. Cedar Rapids liked to have ice storms and it was on one of those days we were taking a treat to this girl. Somehow I did the drive from our house to hers and back with no problems. Just lots and lots of silent prayers on my part. I wouldn't let you miss a visit just because I wouldn't drive for anything.

Geez, where do I start?? Having you for my older sister and the bestest sister ever was the greatest. We always worked together, at whichever job we had. Tastee Freeze, Chapman Fun World, and then Pizza Hut. I loved opening in the mornings together, making dough a chatting for hours until everybody else showed up. Then we managed Cross Country together and ogled all the cute boys, while running from checkpoint to checkpoint. Remember when we drove out to Utah together and drove all night? That was a fun two weeks. Then when you met me at the Temple while I was in the MTC. That was awesome! A little illegal, but so wonderful. In anycase, you've been the best sister ever and I sure do miss chatting with you everyday. Doesn't look like you're going to move to Colorado anytime soon, so I'll have to figure a way to get Craig out there!

I remember when you got married and I was like 8 and it was the end of the reception and you and Chris were getting ready to leave to go on your honeymoon and I started bawling because I thought since you were married now I would never see you again...since we saw our Cousins so often, I guess...and you reassured me that we would still get to see me.
