Welcome
Last Saturday we added a new member to our family. Our children could hardly bare the whole two lives missing. While they can never ever be replaced we have been trying hard to find a new member to add. So, as of last Saturday, we have a new member. Welcome our new dog, Snyder, Tank, Sniper, or the accidental Boomer. I'm going to have my first contest. We are trying to come up with a good name for him and need some help. So leave us some hints. I haven't gotten a pic yet, but he looks a lot like Boomer, a little longer and a little darker. Scared our neighbor to death! He kind of freaked out when he first saw the new dog in the backyard. His wife assured him that this was indeed a different dog, not Boomer. So, leave us some ideas for a new name and we'll let you know what we name him soon!

How about Harley, as in Harley Davidson. If he has a deep bark like Boomer it would be fitting.
I'm voting for Tank and so is David. It's a fitting name for a basset hound. Love ya!
Tank gets my vote too. With as much Army stuff your boys love it would fit well. It just sounds tough! Hugs to you guys!!
I am going for Sniper - GO COLE! And that is too funny about the neighbor!!!
I would have to agree with Tank... I think it is a strong name for a dog.
Thanks for checking out our family blog.
Love ya
Karen
i think that you should call your new dog motor! motor if when he farts it steanks up the house that would be so cute and it won't be a violent name

Donna, you used to call our family dog Fred for some unknown reason to me. Given your appreciation of non-descript shorted male names from the 50s I suggest you name the dog Richard. Then you can call him Rich or when his is being bad, Dick!
I love Sniper. Just goes well with the family.
I'm in for "LC" short for Low Crawl since so many of you are in a military mode. The post-boomer looks like he is doing the LC all the time.
What did you name him?
